Our Pastor

Born in Lexington Kentucky.  Married Barbara Harp in 1959.  Saved at Ashland Avenue Baptist church in 1965, under Brother Clarence Walker.  Attended Lexington Baptist College.  Started singing with Bob Jones, Carl Morton, and Ronnie Wolfe in 1967 – they made several records for the benefit of promoting Lexington Baptist College, and still sing together
Brother Lakes Pastored Fellowship Baptist Church in Perryville Kentucky, Point Place Baptist church in Toledo Ohio, Big Creek Baptist Church in Wayne, West Virginia, and Faith Baptist church in Versailles Kentucky for 30 years, and retired in 2010.  But kept on preaching and traveling and is now Pastoring Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Nicholasville Kentucky.
